The Bookshelf application was designed to be a small tool that will help you organize your books and documents. Order your books and documents so that you can open them much easier.

Bookshelf is designed to be the simplest it could be, so it has only one main window, and one Options window. Bookshelf does not need strong computers to run. It could work on older configuration that does not meet minimum requirements, but that is not tested yet.

Automatic file recognition is the option you could choose if it is better to let Bookshelf deal on finding the best program that will open the selected book, or not.

If you select this option, Bookshelf will NOT ask you to find the program that opens a book unless there is not any registered programs that opens that kind of formats. If you unselect this option Bookshelf will always ask you to find the executable program that opens a book.
